Rental how to's

Boat Slips: Boats you bring and boats you rent may not be parked in the boat slips for any period of time. This is a rule from the state of Florida and you will be towed and responsible for the HOA fine for any infraction. NOTE: Soundside Lofts does not allow the use of boat slips by non-owners. Unauthorized use of any boat slip will result in your boat being towed.

Entry/Access: Check-In: 4pm, Check-Out: 10am

Your Door Access Code will be sent to you. Enter these numbers onto the keypad. The keypad may ask you to click additional numbers, once you click them, all the numbers will appear. The code will not work if you arrive before 4pm. Please contact us if early check-in is needed. To lock the door from the inside, just turn the deadbolt. To lock the door from the outside, pull the door shut gently and then press any key. The front door will not lock itself after it is closed, you must use the lock button on the keypad to lock the door.

Parking: !!IMPORTANT!!! Parking: TWO CAR LIMIT!!! The driveway directly in front of our garage holds 1 additional vehicle. Our garage holds one vehicle. You may not have more than one car parked in the driveway. DO NOT Park in any other areas of the parking lot as they belong to the other units, and you will be towed. Absolutely NO parking in the neighbor's driveway for any reason. People live there and keep their car in the garage. You would be blocking their access. Please make sure your car is NOT hanging into the road. NO parking in the street (except for short duration; and NOT overnight). Overflow parking is down by the pool (it's a short walk). If you do not follow the parking rules, your vehicle is subject to towing at your expense!!

Smoking: We are a smoke free property; this also includes the balconies and patio. If we have reason to believe that the unit has been smoked in, we will use your deposit to have it professionally cleaned

There are 8 beach towels for you to use located on the 2nd floor (in baskets). Wash and Dry any that you use before you check out. DO NOT wash them with any of the white bath towels.

Beach toys, outdoor games, boogie boards, chairs and a beach umbrella are in the garage closet. Rinse them off before returning them to the garage closet.

DO NOT sit on the inside furniture with wet swimsuits and sunscreen.

Blankets/Extra Seating: Blankets are located in bedroom closets. Do not take any indoor furniture outside. Also, do not take any of the patio/balcony furniture to the beach.

TV/Streaming: We have 2 smart TVs connected to the house WiFi; 1 in the living room and 1 in the master bedroom with access to Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu etc. Please be sure to sign out of your account(s) on the TVs before upon check-out so future guests are not able to use your account(s).

Phones/Devices: USB Ports for charging your devices are located on the kitchen island as well as plug ins in the bedrooms. The queen bedroom upstairs has USB ports in the lamps. The small marble table in the living room has USB ports as well.

Books: Books are located in the bedrooms throughout our home. We also brought some of our favorite cookbooks should you want a recipe or two.

Trash/Recycling: Trash pickup is on Tuesday/Friday and Recycling is picked up on Thursday. You will need to roll the respective can out to the end of the driveway. Recycling comes early so roll the can labeled Recycling out on Wednesday night unless you are an early riser.

Outdoor Shower: There is an outdoor shower in the pool area for rinsing off after the beach or pool.

Property: We have outdoor cameras for your protection and for the protection of our property. DO NOT cover, tamper with, or remove them. There is also a locked owner’s closet in the hallway on the 2^nd floor, a locked owner’s closet on the 1st floor and a locked closet in the second floor bedroom. If any of the above mentioned are tampered with in any way, it will result in immediate termination of your rental with no refund.
